Consistently reliable signals

I've been using Hapbee for a while now and decided to get the Stay Asleep Signal this time. Good for sleep, slow shipping

I ordered the Hapbee Smart Neckband with the Deep Sleep Signal. The device itself works pretty well; I did notice an improvement in my sleep quality after a few nights. The app was easy enough to use. However, shipping took about 8 days to get to me, which felt a bit long. Also, the Padded Neckband Cover wasn't as soft as I expected, a minor detail but still. Overall, a decent product, but they could improve on delivery times.

How does this compare to something like an Oura Ring or Whoop? I'm mostly interested in the sleep benefits but not sure if this is overkill if I already track sleep with my smartwatch.

Totally different, man. Oura and Whoop just track your sleep. Hapbee actually tries to *help* you sleep better with those signals. It's not tracking, it's more like active intervention.

Yeah, I have both. My Oura tells me how crappy my sleep was, Hapbee actually helps me get to sleep. The signals are supposed to influence your mood and focus too, not just sleep. It's more about how you feel right now than tracking past performance.

If I get the device, do I have to get the monthly subscription? Or can I just buy it and use it sometimes without paying every month?

You need the subscription to use the signals, which is kinda the whole point of the device. Without it, it's just a fancy neckband, lol.

I think you can try it out for a bit, but for continued access to all the different signals, the membership is how it works. You can do monthly or annual though, and the annual is cheaper in the long run.

Thinking of getting a Hapbee for my dad for Father's Day, but not sure on the size. Is the neckband one-size-fits-all, or are there different options?

Yeah, it's pretty much one size. It's got some give to it though, like it stretches a bit. Should be fine for most people.

Mine came with a padded cover you can add on, which makes it feel a bit more substantial if someone has a smaller neck, but the band itself is standard. No S, M, L options or anything like that.
